I've done every side quest along the way (not incl 2 that are "find all of these in the castle" things, those have been as I find them), and a very small amount of general exploring/puzzle (incl Merlin) solving. Right now I'm level 15, about to start the 14th of 40 story chapters, and I've only played 7 hours according to the save file (so, at most 7h 59min, since they don't show minutes). I was starting to feel that with my friend (who started around 5 days ahead of me) updating me on his hours/level, and most recently told me he finished the story. Disappointing that it isn't an option.the game is much better when there are others along in the quest.įound this thread searching about the game being unexpectedly short. and I know PC users that have the option say there is an entire dialogue for the companion players. So many times, the dialogue says "I should be here with a friend"."not a good place to be alone". They should have also made the option for a companion player on all platforms.
I wish there were more underwater content as well. I love flying, though.the brooms are fantastic. The main storyline is so long, and so much other content has nothing to do with the main line.I got HL when it was released and have finished it twice, and this time, I am trying to slow down, but it isn't as fun without the 's frustrating.
both of them, for almost a year before I got bored. I love the game.but it is not what I had hoped. Or the trolls.they never really interact. There were not enough main quests.and too much content that wasn't worth it to hunt down all of the one-chest tombs/caves. I had to rush through the main story quests to get spells that would have improved the game and allowed me to take my time.
